Elise Unger Reflexology

Aromareflex

In 2016 I had the opportunity to bring a long-term passion and interest into my Reflexology practice. My most recent post-graduate course, Aromareflex, combines the power of essential oils and Reflexology. In a single session you will receive a full reflexology treatment combined with aromatherapy foot massage. To enhance the benefit of the treatment you will have a blend of oils chosen just for you and by you. It is an extremely relaxing and nurturing experience. For the tired or stressed client, or for those experiencing chronic pain, this could be an ideal treatment choice.

Aromareflex uses a carefully selected range of oils that are safe to use but also extremely beneficial. You will have your blend applied throughout your treatment. This treatment is longer than a regular reflexology session as it also incorporates advanced massage techniques and where required, the use of heat to increase the benefits of treatment. You will be given your blend pot to take home so that you can maximise the benefits of your session. Additional extras also include foot/ room spritz blends and/ or roll-on blends for home use. As an Aromareflex practitioner I have learnt how to use essential oils safely and in correct ratio, and how to moderate the amount so it meets the requirements of each individual client. For example, a lesser amount of essential oil can be added to the base cream for a particularly sensitive or frail client.* This treatment is therefore appropriate for almost any age of client and can be also be used during a pregnancy reflexology treatment as an additional extra if so wished. If this is a treatment that interests you, get in touch using my contact details to find out more.

(* If required, a patch test can be carried out beforehand to ascertain sensitivity to a particular oil.)
